The White Lion Hotel

This is a large bar in the main part of Ambleside and has a large outside seating area. They offer a large range of drinks that are well kept. We have on previous visits sampled the menu and the food was good. They also offer room but we have not stayed here or seen the rooms.

You can also board a small bus to transport you down to the quayside from just outside.
