Tennessee Valley Railroad

We visited first thing in the morning and walked around the many static exhibits that were on display outside the main building.

We purchased our tickets for the train ride and awaited its arrival on the platform. The train was pretty full by the time it departed for the 3 mile journey, during the trip there was some narration pointing out the various points of interest.

When you arrive at the destination you have the option to alight the train and what as they use a turntable to turn the engine, once it has been reconnected you make the return journey.
