MotorCity Hotel & Casino

This hotel was to be our home for a couple of days whilst we were in Detroit. We have stayed in a few Casino hotels in Las Vegas so thought this would be similar, the hotel side of things are very similar with helpful staff and the room was very nice and comfortable but that’s where the comparison stops. There were very limited food offerings unless you wanted a buffet, the staff could not be bothered and showed no interest. We did have a bit of a gamble and were pretty successful but were surprised when another difference from there Vegas cousins came to light, the drinks are not free whilst gambling. Although to be fair there are free soft drinks stations located on the gaming floor.
