MGM Borgata Hotel & Casino

We first visited this hotel on the Sunday morning and within 3o minutes we had made the decision to move to it for the last 3 nights of our trip. The reasons were quite simple, firstly they do not allow weed to be smoked in the hotel and secondly the hotel was more like a Vegas hotel in all aspects. The gaming floor was large, the restaurants were plentiful and more importantly open, you can see our reviews of some that we visited. We opted to self-park the car, which was easy enough, there was some confusion to the cost as at reception they said it was $10 a night but it turned out it was for the stay. Even something as simple as hard flooring between the car park, reception and rooms to make it easier to move the cases was welcome.

 

I don’t know if it is something that maybe rolled out in Vegas but here the slots are split in two groups of smoking and non-smoking areas, something we have never seen before. the slots had enough room around them, and the drinks service was very good. Also being part of the MGM group, we were able to use our rewards cards to earn comps whilst we were there.
