Mancherster Airport Meet & Greet Parking

This will be our first review of the Terminal 2 Meet & Greet Parking. As with all meet & greet parking now the service has changed from having someone meet you at the airport go round your car and interact with you has now gone.

Departing:

After passing through a area where the car was scanned you proceed to a lane where you leave your car. when you get in to the terminal you then find the desk which is not a desk it is a row of machines where you enter in your information including the lane where you have left your car. The machine will then print out a ticket for you which you will need for your return and a label to go on your keys which you then drop in to a secure box. There was someone on hand to assist you with the process if you need it.

Returning:

As per the instructions on the ticket you received when dropping your car off, we exited the terminal on the ground floor by M&S and crossed in to the car park. It was not obvious but you need to go to the right in the car park and walk down and the office will be on the left after a short walk. On entering we went to the machine as shown on the ticket, ours was A, touched the screen, scanned the QR code when asked and the key box lit up and opened. On the label that was on the keys was the exact location of the car. There was someone availble to assist if needed.

All in all it was a good experience and well worth the cost, it only looses a little on the rating due to poor signage to the key collection office.
