Lucas Oil Stadium

Another tour that we thought might be interesting and we booked the behind the scenes tour of the Lucas Oil Stadium home of the Indianapolis  Colts American football team.

We met up with our guide and the other people on the tour in the gift shop and off we went on our 2hr tour.  The tour started in the Plazza area where our guide gave informative talks on the history of the stadium and its sponsor, Lucas Oil. I like a bit of American Football but this was my first close up experience and I am now a much bigger fan! The guide was excellent and included everyone in the group as we moved around the stadium taking in the press room, the executive boxes, the coaches rooms, home team changing room ending up walking on the pitch.

What a great tour this was and one that we would urge you to take if you find yourself in Indianapolis, we will also look out for other stadiums that have tours on our travels.
