Saturday – Pit Walk
One of the joys of the Le Mans 24hr Test weekend is that included in the entrance price (€21) you have access to the pit lane on Saturday. Whilst there is not much else open it is still worth the visit. Around the rear of the pits, you get the chance to walk past the team hospitality building and there is always a chance to see your favourite drivers who as a rule are happy to sign autographs and have photos taken.
As you walk down the pit lane you can get some great photographs of the cars, on this occasion we also saw a team practising a pit stop.
Sunday – Test
This is the day you get to see the cars run around the full 8.4-mile circuit. The main areas of the track are open along with some of the grandstands. You will find some food and drink outlets open but not as many as you see on the race weekend. To keep up to date with whats going on it is best to have an FM radio and tune in to the English speaking Radio Le Mans on 91.2fm.
