This was to be another of the highlights of this tour and a place that we had long awaited to visit. There is a large museum with lots of interesting race cars from many different series, there are also a large amount of the Unser family cars. We booked ourselves on to the “Kiss The Bricks” tour as it was the only one available during our time in Indianapolis. We boarded the bus that took us on to the track, which did have a guide on that told you interesting facts and stories of the track as we made our way round to the finish line and the famous yard of bricks. We had time outside of the bus to take plenty of photos and you could if the desire took you to kiss the bricks as many other Indy race winners have in the past. After returning to the main building we took time to make a few purchases from the gift shop.
